Differences from the sample/photo provided should not be considered manufacturing defects, but rather a characteristic of the manual process, which may result in variations in color and uniformity.
When placed outdoors, finishes may undergo color changes, which should not be considered a defect. Brass is a living material that gradually develops a patina over the years.
For cleaning and maintenance, use only a cotton cloth slightly dampened with water and, after cleaning, wipe with a dry cotton cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths, solvents, alcohol, or aggressive detergents. Dry the surface thoroughly if water remains standing.
Part of the Open Manifest collection, this asymmetrical brass door pull is the result of an artistic collaboration between Atelier Landon and M’TITA BAMAKO. Inspired by a naïve and spontaneous gesture, its outline evokes a stylized figure with irregular proportions. The elongated shape, both fluid and dynamic, seems to shift between balance and movement. This intuitive drawing approach gives the piece a strong presence, turning a door or furniture surface into a narrative element.
Cast in solid brass using traditional foundry techniques, each handle displays natural variations that bear witness to handcrafted production. Every piece is shaped, refined, and patinated by hand, creating warm tonal nuances and a living texture. The aged gold finish highlights the depth of the metal and enhances the expressive irregularities of the casting process, giving each example its own identity.
Measuring 29 cm in height and 14 cm in width, this door pull suits interior doors, large furniture fronts, or decorative wall panels. The face-fix system ensures easy installation while maintaining the clarity of the silhouette. Each handle crafted in the workshop stays faithful to the artist’s original gesture, preserving the freedom and fluidity that characterize her work.
Suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor use, the handle naturally develops a deeper patina as it ages. Routine care is minimal: a simple soft cloth is enough to maintain its appearance while letting the brass mature. Blending artistic expression with traditional craftsmanship, this asymmetrical brass door pull combines freeform creativity with long-lasting materiality.
