Patinated brass lever handle – Oriental Touch collection
This brass lever handle features a straight cylindrical lever mounted on a round rose. At the junction between the lever and the neck of the handle appears a hammered spherical knob that marks the transition between the different volumes. This articulation creates a clear composition: a circular base, a short vertical axis, and an elongated horizontal lever.
Lever composition and hammered knob
The cylindrical lever presents a smooth surface that contrasts with the hammered knob placed at its end. This textured sphere acts as a connecting element between the lever and the base. The hammering creates an irregular relief that catches the light and reinforces the presence of this central element. The design therefore relies on the contrast between smooth surfaces and hammered texture.
Material and finish of the door handle
The handle is made of brass and offered in two finish combinations: a gunmetal lever with an aged gold hammered knob, or an aged gold lever with a gunmetal hammered knob. This alternation of tones highlights the geometry of the handle and emphasizes the distinction between the different elements that compose the lever.
Handcrafted production at Atelier Landon – hammering and hand-applied patina
Each piece results from entirely manual work in the Atelier Landon workshops. Master artisans shape the lever, hammer the knob, and apply the patina with precision. Subtle variations reflect the hand of the craftsman and give each handle its own identity.
Dimensions of the lever handle and use
With a length of 15 cm, a diameter of 1.7 cm, and a 5 cm rose, this brass lever handle provides a comfortable grip. It is suitable for interior doors, such as bedrooms, offices, or dressing rooms.
Maintenance of the brass lever handle
A soft dry cloth is sufficient for regular maintenance, without abrasive products. Brass, a durable and living material, gradually develops a natural patina over the years.
