Differences from the sample/photo provided should not be considered manufacturing defects, but rather a characteristic of the manual process, which may result in variations in color and uniformity.
When placed outdoors, finishes may undergo color changes, which should not be considered a defect. Brass is a living material that gradually develops a patina over the years.
For cleaning and maintenance, use only a cotton cloth slightly dampened with water and, after cleaning, wipe with a dry cotton cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths, solvents, alcohol, or aggressive detergents. Dry the surface thoroughly if water remains standing.
Part of Atelier Landon’s Open Manifest collection, this freeform brass cabinet pull results from an artistic collaboration between Atelier Landon and M’TITA BAMAKO. Inspired by intuitive, naïve drawings, it translates the artist’s spontaneous gesture into metal. The original sketch remains perceptible in the final form, giving the piece a warm and expressive presence rooted in a personal visual language.
The handle suggests a simplified figure, reminiscent of an abstract character. Its rounded contours, intentional asymmetry, and irregular outlines reflect a drawing liberated from strict geometry. This approach gives the handle a distinctive visual identity, ideal for enhancing a cabinet door, a storage surface, or a decorative panel.
Cast in solid brass using traditional foundry techniques, the handle displays natural reliefs and slight irregularities inherent to manual molding. Each piece is then shaped, refined, and individually patinated by hand, allowing the material to express its nuances. The aged gold finish deepens the brass tone and highlights its subtle surface variations.
Produced within Atelier Landon’s workshop, the handle uses a face-fix mounting system suitable for furniture fronts, cabinets, buffets, or architectural panels. Measuring 22 cm in height and 7.5 cm in width, it offers a strong visual presence while maintaining clarity of form. This freeform brass cabinet pull balances artistic expression with everyday function.
Intended for indoor use or sheltered outdoor environments, the handle will naturally develop a deeper patina as it ages. Simple care — limited to dusting with a soft cloth — preserves its appearance. Through its expressive freedom and handcrafted execution, this piece unites artistic intention and durability.
