Hammered brass drawer pull

This hammered brass drawer pull belongs to the Art Deco collection. Its surface is worked by hand to create a dense texture inspired by the shagreen effect, a material appreciated in decorative arts for its distinctive relief. Each mark is formed directly in the metal, producing a regular pattern that captures light and highlights the depth of the brass.  

Hammered texture inspired by shagreen

Manual hammering creates a succession of circular marks that structure the surface of the pull. This dense relief animates the material while preserving the purity of the tubular form. The shagreen effect gives the metal a subtle graphic presence that enhances furniture fronts.  

Material and finish of the drawer pull

The pull is made of brass with an aged gold patinated finish. This patina highlights the relief created by the hammering and enhances the variations of light across the surface. Over time, the brass may naturally evolve and develop deeper tonal variations.  

Handcrafted production

Each pull is hammered and finished by hand in the Atelier Landon workshops. This direct work on the metal requires precision and consistency in order to achieve a dense and balanced pattern. Slight variations may occur from one piece to another, reflecting the handcrafted nature of the production.  

Dimensions and use of the drawer pull

Available in two lengths — 8 cm or 12 cm — with a 1.2 cm diameter, this hammered brass drawer pull can be installed on drawers, cabinet doors, buffets, or wardrobe furniture. The through mounting ensures a stable and durable installation.
