Isidor Brass Side Table Details
The Isidor
brass side table combines a painted wooden tabletop with a structured metal base crafted from black steel or aged gold patinated brass. Designed as a versatile accent piece for living rooms, bedrooms, and reading nooks, this table brings geometric balance to seating arrangements. Its balanced proportions and clean architectural lines allow it to function as a standalone side unit or as part of a grouped arrangement.
Dimensional Specifications for the Side Table
The Isidor collection is available in two distinct size configurations to suit different interior spaces:
- MOB/GUE/ISIDOR/1A & 1B: Diameter 45 cm x Height 48 cm
- MOB/GUE/ISIDOR/2: Diameter 60 cm x Height 42 cm
These proportion options allow you to pair higher and lower models together, creating layered nesting arrangements next to sofas or armchairs.
Materials and Workshop Fabrication
We fabricate each unit in our local workshop using durable timber and solid metal alloys. You can read more about the physical characteristics of
brass alloys used in furniture framing. The steel legs receive a protective black coating, while the brass variation is treated with a hand-applied patina that displays warm undertones. Because each frame is finished manually, subtle surface variations occur naturally, giving every piece an authentic workshop identity.
Placement and Interior Coordination
Designed for flexible spatial layouts, the Isidor model adapts easily to residential and hospitality interiors. Place it beside lounge seating to hold lighting, books, or small objects. Furthermore, this piece coordinates seamlessly alongside our broader range of handcrafted
pendant lighting and custom metal furniture.
Maintenance for Wood and Patinated Metal Tables
To clean the painted wooden top and patinated legs, wipe surfaces gently with a dry, soft microfiber cloth. Avoid applying chemical solvents, abrasive pads, or liquid metal polishes. Harsh cleaning agents will strip the protective coating on the wood and damage the hand-applied patina on the brass. Regular dry dusting preserves the original surface finish over time.
