For cleaning and maintenance, use only a cotton cloth slightly dampened with water and, after cleaning, wipe with a dry cotton cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths, solvents, alcohol, or aggressive detergents. Dry the surface thoroughly if water remains standing.
This piece of oriental cabinet hardware is defined by a concave circular form in which a spiral develops from the center toward the outer edge. The depression adds depth, allowing shadows to settle naturally along the relief. The spiral, carved with consistent spacing, creates a continuous movement that remains contained within the round frame. This geometry is influenced by oriental decorative references, where structured lines and repetitive patterns contribute to a calm and controlled visual effect. With its 8 cm diameter, the handle integrates easily on cabinet doors, drawers, wardrobes, or lightweight interior doors.
The handle is made of solid brass finished with an aged-gold patina. The surface reveals fine variations, especially in the recessed areas of the pattern, where the patina naturally darkens. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand, which gives the brass subtle differences in tone and relief. The concave shape strengthens the optical impression of depth and highlights the spiral as light moves across the surface.
A through-mount system keeps the handle firmly in place on wood, lacquered surfaces, or veneered furniture. The installation remains visible only on the interior face while the front keeps its clean circular form. The handle is intended for indoor use, where brass can evolve calmly over time. As it ages, the metal develops a natural patina that enriches the overall appearance without altering the readability of the spiral.
Maintenance remains simple: wipe the surface with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, then dry immediately with a second microfiber cloth. This routine protects the patina, removes everyday marks, and supports the durability of the piece. With proper care, this oriental cabinet hardware maintains both its structure and depth of finish for many years.
